ArkData registered Ark for CDC, a real-time heterogeneous data replication solution, and Ark for FR, a file replication solution, on Kakao i Cloud Marketplace.

Through this Marketplace registration, customers who need data replication on Kakao i Cloud can get the service efficiently in a monthly subscription form. Since there is no need for an additional interim channel, customers can reduce the cost of using the software and purchase solution more easily through the marketplace. 

In most Clouds, the maintenance cost can vary greatly depending on the solution option that replicates data by measuring the network cost according to the network transmission cost. All ArkData products transmit only redo logs containing changes in the entire database, so the network transmission amount is small thus, preventing high network costs and enabling efficient data management.

The main product of ArkData which was registered recently, 'Ark for CDC' supports heterogeneous data replication that can be replicated between different DBMS. By using 'Ark for CDC', it is possible to build a disaster recovery system at a reasonable cost by using various open-source DBs, and it guarantees business continuity by supporting zero-downtime migration when changing to a Cloud environment. 

'Ark for FR' is a real-time file replication solution that replicates only the minimum changed blocks for data, programs, contents, and various document files of the operation server to the target server. It mainly used for disaster recovery systems or cloud backup. With ‘Ark for FR’, it is possible to set the replication for specified file, replication exception, and set the replication cycle.
