 ArkData (CEO Ko Kwang-yun) and KOREAFIRSTEC (CEO Kim Sangjik) have announced the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to

target the data migration market. Through this agreement, both companies plan to enhance their market competitiveness by providing automated services

for data and application migration.

The core of this agreement is to provide full stack migration services for all environments, including applications (APP), operating systems (OS), web, web application servers (WAS),

databases (DB), and file systems. By combining their specialized technologies, both companies aim to reduce the complexity of data migration and deliver solutions that maximize

efficiency.

According to ArkData, traditional data migration processes have heavily relied on the skill level of the workers, impacting the accuracy and integrity of the data. Additionally, maintaining consistency during manual data transfer has been challenging. ArkData also pointed out that this process requires significant manpower and time, which has been identified as a drawback.

To address these drawbacks, the two companies plan to offer services that enable easy and seamless data migration across various IT environments using automated solutions.

This approach aims to minimize errors and reduce downtime during the data transfer process. Additionally, the service will provide improved accuracy, consistency, cost-efficiency,

and scalability. It will also support uninterrupted migration, ensuring business continuity even during data transfers.
